About Bugeat

Bugeat is a commune of Corrèze, in New Aquitaine, France.
Historically, the municipality has thrived on agriculture and the exploitation of its wooded parcels and has made a reputation in the development of granite construction. Mecca of the Resistance during the Second War, Bugeat, which now has about 1,000 inhabitants, has since the last quarter of the twentieth century become a capital of green tourism, highlighting its environment and offering visitors a range of cultural leisure.
