The main difference between a stable door and a Dutch door is the position of the main handle. A stable door has the handle on the top section, while a Dutch door has the handle on the lower part.
I built the door with a 12 mm plywood core with 15 mm tongue-and-groove boards on each outer surface, making the final thickness 42 mm or about 1 ⅝ inches.
I used a standard locking door handle on the top and a sliding-bolt gate latch on the bottom section.
Black gate hinges round out the construction.
I also rebuilt the door frame because of the extreme warp.
